Volunteer Agreement:

I understand that I must complete Lawn Legacy Project's training course prior to operating equipment and agree to follow all safety procedures and the Volunteer Code of Conduct.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Lawn Legacy Project volunteer activities may involve physical labor and the use of lawn care equipment. I acknowledge that such activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, falls, equipment-related injuries, weather-related hazards, and other unforeseen risks associated with outdoor work.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these activities.

Release of Liability
In consideration for being allowed to participate as a volunteer, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Lawn Legacy Project, its founders, directors, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and affiliated organizations from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action that may arise from injury, loss, or damage related to my participation in volunteer activities.

Volunteer Insurance Acknowledgement
I understand that Lawn Legacy Project volunteers are not covered under an organizational accident or medical insurance policy unless otherwise stated. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own health, medical, or accident insurance coverage.

Media Release
I grant permission for the Lawn Legacy Project to photograph or record volunteer activities that I participate in. I understand these images or videos may be used for promotional, educational, fundraising, or social media purposes.

Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation as a volunteer is completely voluntary and that I may withdraw from volunteer activities at any time.
Volunteer Equipment Liability Statement
Personal Equipment Use and Liability

Volunteers may choose to use their own personal equipment while volunteering with The Lawn Legacy Project. By doing so, the volunteer acknowledges and agrees that The Lawn Legacy Project is not responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or malfunction of personal equipment used during volunteer activities.

Volunteers assume full responsibility for the maintenance, operation, and safety of any equipment they personally own and choose to use while participating in Lawn Legacy Project activities.

The Lawn Legacy Project shall not be held liable for any costs related to repair, replacement, or maintenance of volunteer-owned equipment used during volunteer service.

The Lawn Legacy Project does not provide insurance coverage for volunteer-owned equipment.
