Dr. William Flatt and his wife, Dr. Marihope Troutman Flatt, have established an endowment through the Georgia FFA Foundation for graduating Georgia FFA members in hopes of furthering their education by attending college. A $1,000.00 college scholarship will be awarded to one Georgia FFA member who plans to attend the University of Georgia and obtain a degree in agriculture.
The guidelines below must be followed in order to be considered for this scholarship:
- The student must be a Georgia FFA Member.
- The student must graduate in 2026.
- The scholarship will be awarded by the Georgia FFA Foundation once proof of enrollment at the University of Georgia has been received.
- The scholarship winner must write a thank-you letter to the donor (contact information will be provided) before receiving their scholarship funds.
- The application must be completed and submitted by Monday, March 30th, at 5:00 pm.
