The Children's Centre Preschool 2026-2027

The Children’s Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. We are grateful for the in-kind support provided by many individuals and organizations.
For the 2026/2027 school year, preschool tuition is $100.00 per month, and a $150.00 non-refundable registration fee is required at the Preschool meet & greet in September.

The $100.00 monthly fee already reflects the affortablity grant.

Children must be 3 years of age and fully potty trained to attend.

**There will be no transportation available for this coming school year. **

Please note that volunteer commitments and levy fees are in place for the school year.
Preschool classes run Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM or 12:45 PM to 3:30 PM, September through May, with scheduled breaks throughout the year.

Medical Administration
- I understand that the provider can only administer medication when a Parent/Guardian has completed a medication administration form.
- I understand that only prescription medications will be administered.
- I understand that medication must be provided in its original container with the pharmacy label intact.
- I understand that medication will be administered strictly according to the directions on the label.
- I understand that when ongoing or emergency medication is required (e.g., asthma inhaler or EpiPen), an Emergency Medication Form must be completed by the Parent/Guardian and the family physician.

Field Trips and Outings/ Media Release
Our Preschool may attend parks, outdoor playgrounds, nature walks, and short trips to businesses and other points of interest in the community. Notice will be sent home prior to each field trip, and it is at the parent’s discretion whether to send their child.

Pictures and Videotaping within the Centre

Throughout the course of the school year, your child's teachers will be taking pictures of your child engaging in preschool activities. We display these pictures in the Centre and may also post and share them on our social media pages.

On occasion, parents, The Children’s Centre staff, and other organizations visiting the preschool may also take photographs or videos of the children during special events or activities.

I give permission for my child to be photographed and videotaped, and for these images and videos to be shared on social media.
