• This category recognizes a first-time or recurring event that demonstrates strong community support and partnerships. The event must have attracted visitors to Onslow County, generated measurable visitor spending or overnight stays and been effectively promoted to out-of-county audiences.
• The event/organization must reside or be held in Onslow County.
• Must contribute to the growth of the local tourism industry.
• Implement innovative sales, marketing, public relations, and social media initiatives to enhance Onslow County's image.
• Not employed by or contracted with any of the official tourism offices or TDAs in the county
• Advocate for Onslow County Tourism and businesses
• Good Partner to the office of Onslow County Tourism
• Community Involvement
• Knowledge of the area and attractions
• Promotes Onslow County as a tourism destination

Attend the Onslow Tourism Luncheon and Award Ceremony on April 30th
May be asked to speak at functions
