Tineke invites you to come along on an introspective journey, where you will gain inspiration from her poetic musings, explore your own inner world, and translate it into visual imagery. The lessons are gentle, safe, and will allow you to take moments each day to breathe, listen to your inner voice, and express gratitude. They are designed to help you gain a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
This course was filmed on Vancouver Island, using the stunning natural views, quiet solitude, and cozy surroundings to cultivate emotional, physical, and spiritual health. For 30 days, you will be guided through journaling and photography practices that can be achieved while being in a relaxed, curious, creative frame of mind.
Each lesson comes with an inspiration video, a journaling opportunity, a simple photography technique that can be done with a cellphone or digital camera, and an open-ended photography prompt. The goal of this course is to let go of stress, fall in love with photography for the joy it brings, and to appreciate the beauty in the simple things around you.
Detailed critiques will not be given, as the focus is on the process of creating rather than achieving perfect results. However, there will be technical support available for anything that comes up along the way.
Think of this as self-care in a photography course! A gift you are giving to yourself - a chance to ground yourself and calm your mind with each soul-enriching practice.
