I, undersigned, hereby apply for membership in the American Association of University Professors - Rutgers Biomedical Supervisors Union, a chapter of the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters. I authorize the American Association of University Professors - Rutgers Biomedical Supervisors Union, a chapter of the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters, to act as my exclusive representative for purposes of collective negotiations over wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment with my employer. My membership shall remain in effect unless terminated by termination of employment or by me upon written notice of withdrawal. Withdrawal shall be effective consistent with law.
Concurrently, I, undersigned, also hereby authorize Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, to deduct from my earnings an amount as shall be certified by the American Association of University Professors - Rutgers Biomedical Supervisors Union or the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters or the Part-Time Lecturer Faculty Chapter, as applicable. The biweekly amount deducted shall be paid to the Rutgers Biomedical Supervisors Union, the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters or Part-Time Lecturers Faculty Chapter, as applicable. This authorization shall remain in effect until termination of employment or by written notice of withdrawal as stipulated above. I understand that no dues will be deducted until unit members are covered by a collective negotiations agreement.
