2026 Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC) Athlete EOI

Volleyball South Australia has opened expressions of interest for U19, U21 and U23 athletes to represent South Australia at the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships in 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of team South Australia at the premier Junior Indoor Volleyball events in Australia. You’ll be working with some of the best talent and coaches we have in the State and we are extremely excited to have AJVC hosted at home in Adelaide in July.

Junior Championships (AJVC) have U19, U21 and U23 divisions for both male and female

Age Groups for the Volleyball Championships are as follows:

U23 (2004 & 2005 born athletes)
Player must not turn 23 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U21 (2006 & 2007 born athletes)
Player must not turn 21 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U19 (2008 born athletes)
Player must not turn 19 years old, or older, during the year of the event

Trial Dates & Times:

Phase One:

Sunday 29th March 2026 at Brighton Secondary School

U19/U21/U23 Male athletes - 5:30pm – 7:00pm
U19/U21/U23 Female athletes - 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Please note : This is an overall timeframe and final exact timing will be confirmed once all EOI's have been received.

Please note : VSA will only consider athletes who qualify within their age group. Considerations may be given to athletes outside of their age group at the discretion of the Head of Pathways and VSA CEO only.

Additional information:

Athletes should be available to attend all trials. Please note it on the JotForm, or by emailing kylie.l@volleyballsa.com.au if you can only attend one.

Please note there may be phase one selection cuts post the first trial date, this will be notified by email to the athlete.

The cost of the trial will be $30 per athlete - Please pay via the nominations section on our website.

Approximate tour cost are $700.00 incl GST and will be confirmed on the Letter of Offer to athletes.

Volleyball SA will be selecting the best athletes to represent South Australia. Team selection will be at the discretion of Volleyball SA.

AJVC Trainings will be on a Sunday at BSS. Times TBC
