2026-2027 BACC application

Greetings,

Black Achievers Creating Change (BACC) is a free program that welcomes both young men and women who exemplify academic achievement, leadership potential, and a willingness to empower others through volunteer service.

The workshop series includes wellness workshops, college preparation sessions, mentoring activities, civic and community service projects, and volunteer activities.

We meet at Cosumnes River College on the 4th Sunday of each month, September 2026 through May 2027.

We invite junior and senior African American students and students of African descent from the Sacramento area with a GPA of 3.0 or higher to participate.

Join the Black Achievers Creating Change

By participating in BACC, you may be eligible for a scholarship between $500-$2,500.

In addition to completing this online application, also be prepared to upload the following three items:

2. headshot or photo
3. 200-word statement of interest in participating in BACC
