  • Open Mic Application

  • The Siksikaitsitapi Music Showcase honours and uplifts Indigenous artists while celebrating Siksikaitsitapi culture and heritage through song, storytelling, and performance. Featured performers represent the Siksikaitsitapi and the Blackfoot Confederacy.

The Siksikaitsitakpi Music Showcase will follow the following format:

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Traditional Singing Contest & Hand Drum Contest

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Open Mic Section

8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Performance: Summer Ends

The Open Mic will feature four 15-minute performance slots for solo and duo acts only. This provides space for four artists to share their music, stories, and creative expression with the audience in a showcase setting.

Artists will be notified of approval by June 30th, 2026.
