    Pending review notice: Submitting this form and completing payment do not themselves renew certification. The application remains subject to staff review, and the Registrar will contact you if any additional information or action is required.

  • Certification Renewal Requirements
    To maintain your certification, you must maintain an active NARO membership and complete the required continuing education credits during your certification cycle.
    Certified Mineral Manager (CMM)
    60 total Education Credits, including 1 Ethics Education Credit, of which up to 20 credit hours may come from approved non-naro seminars, college courses, and other educational programs.
    Registered Mineral Manager (RMM)
    30 total Education Credits, including 1 Ethics Education Credit, of which up to 10 credit hours may come from approved non-naro seminars, college courses, and other educational programs.
    Review process: Submitted activities and supporting documentation will be reviewed to confirm eligibility for Education Credits under program policies.

        Certification Renewal Fee

        This payment covers renewal of your NARO Mineral Management Program certification. Certification must be renewed every five years to maintain your Registered Mineral Manager (RMM) or Certified Mineral Manager (CMM) credential and remain in good standing with the program.

        Replacement Certificate

        This fee covers the cost of printing and shipping a replacement copy of your NARO Mineral Management Program certification certificate. Replacement certificates are issued upon request to certified Registered Mineral Managers (RMM) or Certified Mineral Managers (CMM).
