    This application may take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete for those re-enrolling in their current program. New applicants should expect to spend approximately 30–90 minutes completing the application, depending on the program and materials prepared in advance.

    All applicants should be prepared to submit a current resume, and some programs (including the Postgraduate Program and Differentiation at Work) also require a family diagram, click here to view a sample.

    POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM: Applicants to the Postgraduate Program are encouraged to review the PGP Application Preparation Guide before beginning their application.

    APPLICATION FEE: $50
    Applicants enrolling in a new program, with the exception of Introduction to Bowen Theory participants and reenrollees, are required to submit a non-refundable $50 application fee for their application to be considered. Click here to pay, or pay at the end of the application.

  • Continuing Education: Through the Postgraduate Program, The Bowen Center provides a maximum of 49 credit hours of Category I continuing education credit for social workers and counselors. Participants must attend all livestreamed classes and enable their videos for the whole class (except during scheduled lunches and breaks) to receive continuing education credit.   • Continuing Education: Through Introduction to Bowen Theory, The Bowen Center provides a maximum of 10.5 credit hours of Category I continuing education credit for social workers and counselors. Participants must attend all livestreamed classes and enable their videos for the whole class (except during scheduled lunches and breaks) to receive continuing education credit.   • Tuition and Photo/Video Release Policies:

    • Application fees are non-refundable. Any required program deposits are also non-refundable.

    • Full tuition is due in advance of the program start date, unless a payment plan has been arranged. For programs with payment plans, all payments must be made according to the established schedule.

    • Tuition is non-refundable after the first meeting of the program. Any remaining balance remains due as scheduled.

    • Tuition and fees may be transferred between The Bowen Center’s Learning & Development programs in consultation with the relevant program heads. If participation is interrupted, credit toward future participation in the same program may be arranged with approval from the program head.

    • By enrolling in courses with The Bowen Center, I hereby give The Bowen Center for the Study of the Family/Georgetown Family Center, Inc. royalty-free permission to record my likeness in photographs, videos and/or film during my attendance for promotional purposes in any or all forms of media.
