  • Create an accordion style sketchbook to engage with the community and demonstrate how sketching and drawing can be used as tools to document experiences and surroundings. Accordion sketchbooks provide space for continuous, uninterrupted panoramic or sequential storytelling by using a long, foldable sheet of paper. All materials are provided.

    Crear un cuaderno de bocetos estilo acordeón para interactuar con la comunidad y demostrar cómo el dibujo y el bocetaje pueden utilizarse como herramientas para documentar experiencias y el entorno. Los cuadernos de acordeón ofrecen espacio para una narración panorámica o secuencial continua e ininterrumpida utilizando una hoja larga y plegable de papel. Todos los materiales están incluidos.

    Karina Ramirez is a mixed-media artist exploring color and how it can express certain aspects of a composition. Karina received her B.F.A in Painting/Drawing and a Minor in Art History from the University of North Texas (2024) and is currently an MFA 26’ candidate at Southern Methodist University.


    Yasmin Ramirez is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores landscapes and environments shaped by memory and experience. Yasmin is currently a B.F.A. student majoring in Printmaking and minoring in Art history from the University of North Texas (2026).
