The New Voices Co-Design Lab is a free creative media program for newcomer and refugee youth living in North Bay and nearby communities. The program takes place at the Near North Makerspace and includes hands-on workshops where youth explore audio storytelling, interviews, photography, video, podcasting, zine-making, and digital design.

New Voices is youth-led and co-designed. Participants help shape each workshop cycle by choosing topics and creative approaches that interest them. Youth decide what they are comfortable creating and sharing, and there is no requirement to tell personal or sensitive stories.
