District Open and Outlaw Races will be run following the conclusion of the District Pinewood Derby Races.

April 26th – Trussville Civic Center
Sunday, April 26th –
12:30 – 1:50 – Check-in / Late registration
1:30 – 1:55 – Scouts vote on cars
2:00 – Opening
Cost – $10 for preregistration or $12 at the event.
Concessions available for purchase.
Open class for anyone not participating in the Scout races, subject to the same rules as the Scout races.
Outlaw race open to anyone subject to the following rules:
- Weight not to exceed 5 pounds.
- Must clear the track center guide.
- No part of the car body, wheels or attachments may protrude in front of the starting peg, which is in the center of the track.
- No internal or external combustion.
- No compressed gas.
- Must be determined safe for the audience and the track.
