  • BroncoBOLD Idaho High School Ambassador Application

  • Welcome to the application for the 2026–2027 BroncoBOLD Idaho High School Ambassador Program. We are excited you are here and appreciate your interest in bringing BroncoBOLD to your school community.

    This application is designed to introduce the program and help applicants determine whether the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program is a good fit for their school.

  • Please review the program description and requirements carefully. The BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program Application Manual outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and commitments required of participating schools.

    Schools should read the entire manual before deciding to apply to ensure the program is a strong fit for their school community.

     

    Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on April 24, 2026.


    Applications will be reviewed as they are received and selected schools will be announced on April 30, 2026.

    Each school must identify four additional full-time students who will serve on the five-student BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Leadership Committee (in addition to the student completing this application).

    Leadership committees must include at least one student from each grade level, with no more than two seniors.

    Schools should nominate a group of student leaders who reflect a broad cross-section of the student body, including students from different grade levels, teams, activities, and interests across campus. The makeup of the leadership committee will be considered during the application review process.

  • III. On-Site Advisors

    Each school must identify at least two on-site faculty advisors.

    One advisor must be the school’s counselor, psychologist, or social worker.


    The second advisor must be a staff member at the school (e.g., activities director, teacher, certified athletic trainer, coach, etc.).

    These advisors will support the student leadership group and serve as the primary points of contact for the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program.

  • VII. Acknowledgment of Program Application Details

  • By applying for the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program, I (we) acknowledge that:

    1. I (we) have read the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program Application Manual in its entirety (located above in Step One of this application), and

    2. If selected, we are able to meet the expectations during the 2026–2027 academic year.

  • Application Requirements

    The application must be completed by a currently enrolled student attending the high school full-time. 

    Applications open at 8:00 AM MST on March 9, 2026 and close at 5:00 PM MST on April 24, 2026.

  • Leadership Committee

    Each school must identify four additional students (in addition to the student completing this application) to serve on the five-student BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Leadership Committee.

  • On-Site Advisors

    Each school must identify at least two on-site faculty advisors.

    One advisor must be the school counselor, psychologist, or social worker.

    The second advisor must be a current staff member at the school (principal, activities director, teacher, certified athletic trainer, coach, etc.).

     

  • Leadership Summit

    The BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Leadership Committee and at least one on-site faculty advisor will be required to attend the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Leadership Mental Health Summit in late August 2026 (final date to be announced in May 2026).  

  • Student Leadership Commitment

    Members of the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Leadership Committee must be able to dedicate approximately 1-2 hours per week to growing the BroncoBOLD movement within their school and community.

  • Monthly Leadership Meetings

    Beginning in September and continuing throughout the academic year, the Leadership Committee must hold at least one meeting per month on campus.

    At least one on-site faculty advisor must attend each meeting.

    Schools are encouraged to establish an attendance policy for leadership members (for example, one absence allowed per school year).

  • Fundraising Initiative

    The Leadership Committee will lead one fundraising activity per academic year to help support their school’s mental health initiative and begin to build program sustainability.

  • Mental Health Activations

    1. BOLD Games

    Each school will be required to host one BOLD Mental Health Awareness competition for each sport or activity at their school.

    2. Chalk the Walk

    Each school will be required to promote and participate in the annual BroncoBOLD Chalk the Walk for Mental Health Day (held in Spetember) at their high school and feeder schools.

    All Activation Kits will be provided.

  • Social Media


    Each school will be required to create a BOLD Instagram account dedicated to sharing student-led mental health initiatives, events, and activities taking place at their school.

    All accounts must follow the social media guidelines set forth in the BroncoBOLD licensing agreement, including expectations related to branding, messaging, and appropriate content.

  • Application and Licensing Acknowledgment

    By signing below, I (we) confirm that I (we) have read the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program Application Manual and understand the expectations required of participating schools during the 2026–2027 academic year.

    I (we) understand that if our school is selected to participate in the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program, the student leadership committee and on-site advisors agree to fulfill the commitments outlined in the Application Manual.

    I (we) understand that BroncoBOLD and the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program are licensed materials owned by Boise State University Athletics. If selected as a BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador School, I (we) understand we will be asked to review and sign the BroncoBOLD licensing agreement and follow the guidelines, expectations, and directions outlined in the program materials.
