    Animal Interaction Safety
A core part of Wilde Critter Camp is learning how to safely and respectfully interact with animals.

To protect both campers and animals, the following rules apply:

    • Campers must follow all instructions from camp educators when interacting with animals.
    • Animals may only be touched when a staff member says it is safe to do so.
    • Campers must use gentle hands and calm voices around animals.
    • Running, shouting, or rough behavior near animals is not allowed.
    • Campers may not feed animals unless directed by staff.
    • Our goal is to help children develop respect, empathy, and responsible behavior toward wildlife and animals.
