  • Join the Record-Breaking 2027 Ascension Seton Austin Marathon & Half Marathon Elite Field!

    Be part of something extraordinary on February 14, 2027, as the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon & Half Marathon welcomes top talent from around the world to this prestigious USATF-sanctioned event. Athletes will experience Austin’s scenic course, live music at every mile, enthusiastic spectators, and an unmatched race-day atmosphere.

    The Full Marathon features a $20,000 prize purse for elite competitors, along with complimentary entry. While elite Half Marathon athletes are not eligible for prize money, they may qualify for complimentary entry based on established performance standards.

    Interested in joining the Elite Field? Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2026. Please note that submission does not guarantee acceptance. All applications will be reviewed by the event team.

  • Travel & Lodging Notice: The event does not provide direct lodging or transportation assistance. However, elite runners who have met US Olympic Trials standards within the three years prior to February 15, 2026, may submit receipts for reimbursement of flights and hotel stays up to a limited amount. To qualify for a post-race review by the race directors, participants must start the race. All reimbursement claims must be filed after the event; any requests submitted before race day will not be considered.
