Contribution Credit Request

As on open source project, we welcome (and celebrate!) meaningful contributions in lieu of subscriptions. If you want to help us implement, fix or document something instead of contributing financially, that works for us. Credits are typically distributed as coupon codes for free or discounted CSA subscriptions.

The question of what makes a contribution meaningful is subjective. Contact us for pre-approval before starting any significant work.

Here are some examples of the types of participation we might consider meaningful:

Debugging: reporting a bug or articulating a novel feature request that affects end users, and then working with us to test the result and confirm it worked.
Documentation: working with a maintainer to create a new section for the docuentation.
Development: sending in pull requests that add functionality or fix meaningful bugs.
General helpfulness: regular small contributions are just as appreciated as one big one.
