    Slack: Friday, May 22nd at 4:00PM for All Age Divisions - Excluding Rough Stock

    Performance: Saturday, May 23rd at 1:00 PM - Grand Entry 12:45 PM

    Contestant Check-In: Friday at 3:00 PM & Saturday at 11:00 AM - Must Sign a Waiver at Check-In 

    Mandatory Contestant Meeting: 15 Minutes before Slack & the Performance

    Potter Valley Rodeo Grounds: 10747 Main St. Potter Valley, CA 95469

    Payment Due with Entries - Each Contestant Including Sr Partners must submit an entry form. 

    Age Restrictions: Contestant Must be 18 years Old or Younger as of May 23, 2026

    Limits: Limited to 25 Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, and Ribbon Roping Contestants, 10 Rough Stock Riders in Each Event, and 20 Riders for all Other Events. 

    Entries Close: Wednesday, May 13th at 11:59PM or When Filled

    Awards: Buckles in all Events and All Around Award in Each Age Division

    All-Around Point System: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6... All Around Awards - Awards for 7-10 All Around Contestant, 11-13 All Around Contestant, and 14-18 Boy and Girl All Around

    Sheep Riding: Sheep Riding Contestants can only compete in the Sheep Riding ONE day, not two. If contestants enter Saturday, they are not eligble to compete on Sunday.

    Dry RV Camping - Moderate sized Portable Pens Allowed

    Will follow NHSRA Guidelines and Rules

    A Sr Team Ropng Partner must be over 18 Years Old and Can Only Enter Twice 

    Western Attire required (Long Sleeve Shirt, Pants, Boots, and Hat) Rough Stock Events, including Sheep Riding, must have protective head gear that fits properly and the apropiate equipment. Protective Vests Required in allrough stock events excluding sheep riding. Potter Valley Rodeo Association will not provide protective equipment.

    All contestants shall comply with the rules, any un-sportsman like conduct will result in disqualification. 

    Grievance Procedure: Contestants Only, must address all questions or problems to the Arena Director. Judges will make the final determinations. 

    Refunds will not be given in any event after the Draw is posted. 

    Trades will be allowed up to 24 hours after the Draw is posted.
