Meetup Event Required documents

In consideration of my participation with Stephanie Schoolmeester, Vibrant Body and Soul, Lazy S Stables, their animals and their affiliates, for a personal/professional coaching, consultation, seminars, workshops, retreats, visiting or volunteering.  I hereby generally release, waive, discharge and hold harmless Stephanie Schoolmeester, Vibrant Body and Soul, Lazy S Stables, their animals, their agents, employees, assistants, independent contractors and cosponsors and their affiliates, of any liability whatsoever related to my participation with Vibrant Body and Soul and Lazy S Stables event, for a personal/professional coaching, consultation, seminars, workshops, retreats, visiting or volunteering. I execute this release with the express intention of effecting any legal consequences provided by Colorado Civil Code, that is, the release of all liability associated with participating with Stephanie Schoolmeester, Vibrant Body and Soul and Lazy S Stables activities, programs, personal/professional coaching, consultation, seminars, workshops, retreats, visiting or volunteering or other events.  This letter of agreement shall constitute the full and complete understanding between the parties and shall supersede any prior or contemporaneous representations or agreements, oral or written. This agreement shall be interpreted pursuant to and governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. If any action at law or equity is brought to enforce any of the terms of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to actual attorney’s fees and costs. It is agreed that the venue of any such action at law is the City and County of Boulder, Colorado. No assignment of this agreement is permitted and any attempt to assign all or any rights, obligations or duties granted under this agreement shall be null and void.I hereby completely release Stephanie Schoolmeester, Vibrant Body and Soul and Lazy S Stables, their animals and their agents, employees, assistants, independent contractors and cosponsors and their affiliates, of any liability whatsoever related to my participation with this event on this or any other day.“A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known to him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor.”Stephanie Schoolmeester, Vibrant Body and Soul and Lazy S Stables seek and strive for safety at all times.  However, I understand that there are certain risks inherent in animal and equine-related activities. I acknowledge that all activities involving animals and horses (including but not limited to: horseback riding, handling, leading, groundwork and other contact) involve this degree of risk.Under Colorado law, an equine professional is not liable for any injury or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant of Section 13-21-119, Colorado Revised Statutes. In consideration of the services of Vibrant Body and Soul and Lazy S Stables, their agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (herein collectively referred to as “Vibrant Body and Soul” and ”Lazy S Stables”), I agree to waive and release forever all claims for damages against “Vibrant Body and Soul” and “Lazy S Stables” for any and all injuries and/or losses that could be sustained while participating in “Vibrant Body and Soul” and “Lazy S Stables” program. I further understand that I am not covered by “Vibrant Body and Soul’s” and “Lazy S Stables’” insurance policy.I acknowledge that I have been given the opportunity to ask questions regarding any aspect of the release contained herein, and by signing below, I do acknowledge that I have carefully and completely read and fully understand all aspects of the release and agree to these terms in their entirety. I hereby agree that should any legal proceeding arise relating to this general release and agreement, the disallowance of any terms and conditions of said agreement. Having been so apprised, I hereafter arising known or unknown, from this release and from my participation.WARNING UNDER COLORADO LAW, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES, PURSUANT TO SECTION 13-21-119, COLORADO REVISED STATUTES.

I give my permission for Stephanie Schoolmester, Vibrant Body and Soul, LLC and/or the professional photographer to use photos and video footage of me during my participation in the retreat for public posting on social media, publicity and marketing in print, on websites, and/or social media.
