There are many roles to fill, beyond singing!

Pod Leader/s - Pod leaders hold the 'lead' role(s) for a pod of singers. As a pod leader I want to help recruit people to join singing actions together. I will be versed in the Singing Resistance materials (I am trained or I am opening to being trained, and utilizing the toolkit provided by National Singing Resistance + the local Fox Cities group) and I am connected to local organizing.Song Leader/s - Song leaders use their talents to lead songs at actions or gatherings, by guiding everyone in song. I am interested in leading songs, in supporting people in getting lyrics sheets or whatever they need to learn the songs, and supporting other song leaders. Note: some pod leaders may be song leaders, but not all song leaders have to be pod leaders.Action planner/s - I want to help plan and organize the actions: purpose, routes, safety / security, marshals, snacks, medics, etc.Community nurturer/s - I would like to nourish the singers through warm welcomes, snacks, and intentional time for community building. I am also interested in planning additional gatherings for deeper connection. I would like to help ensure that the needs of the pod are being met, with regards to security / safety issues.Gathering (rehearsal) facilitator/s - I would like to be responsible for guiding the gatherings with regards to purpose, timing, and quality.Communicator/s - I would like to help film the actions, share video of the actions on social media, create outreach flyers, manage Instagram accounts, etc.Other - (please share more below)
