6. DOCUMENT TRANSLATION REQUIREMENTS
Any documents provided by the Client that are not in English must be translated into English before they can be submitted to government agencies or included in an application packet.
Translation services are not included in CNIS Immigration Services’ service fees unless specifically stated in the selected service.
If the Client submits documents that require translation, CNIS Immigration Services may offer translation services for an additional fee of $25 per page. The Client may also choose to obtain translations from another qualified translator.
All translations must be complete and accurate. CNIS Immigration Services reserves the right to decline the use of translations that appear incomplete, unclear, or not properly certified when certification is required.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY
CNIS Immigration Services will maintain the confidentiality of client information and documents to the extent permitted by law.
Client information will only be shared when necessary to perform the requested service or when required by law.
8. GOVERNMENT FEES
Government filing fees are separate from CNIS service fees.
If the service selected requires government fees, the Client will be informed by CNIS regarding how those fees must be paid.
CNIS does not control government filing fees and such fees may change without notice.
9. REQUESTS FOR EVIDENCE (RFE)
Services provided under this Agreement do not include responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) issued by USCIS or other government agencies.
If the Client receives an RFE, assistance may be available for an additional fee.
10. USCIS CASE INQUIRIES
This Agreement does not include contacting USCIS or other government agencies regarding case status or inquiries for cases outside of normal processing times.
Such services may be available for an additional fee.
11. PACKET REVIEW SERVICES
Packet review services consist of reviewing documents or immigration forms prepared by the Client or another party and providing general feedback regarding completeness.
Once the review has been completed and review notes have been provided to the Client, the service is considered completed.
Follow-up reviews or additional evaluations of revised documents are not included and may require an additional service fee.
12. TRANSLATION SERVICES
Translation services are performed based on the documents provided by the Client.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the documents submitted for translation are accurate and complete.
13. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Clients may cancel this Agreement within 72 hours of signing.
Refunds will be issued as follows:
• Full refund if no work has been performed
• Partial refund if work has begun but has not been completed
• No refund if the service has already been completed
Expedited services are non-refundable once accepted.
Government filing fees and third-party costs are not refundable through CNIS.
14. PAYMENT METHODS AND REFUND PROCESSING
CNIS Immigration Services accepts payment through the following methods:
• Zelle
• Credit or Debit Card
Payments made by credit or debit card are subject to a 3% processing fee, which covers third-party payment processing costs.
In the event that a refund is issued in accordance with the Refund and Cancellation Policy, refunds will be processed using the same payment method originally used by the Client, subject to the following conditions:
• Payments made by credit or debit card will be refunded back to the same card used for the original transaction.
• Payments made through Zelle will be refunded by check issued by CNIS Immigration Services.
• Refunds will only be issued if the Client qualifies for a refund under the terms of this Agreement.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method and financial institutions involved.
15. NO GUARANTEE OF APPROVAL
CNIS Immigration Services cannot guarantee approval of any immigration application or petition.
All decisions are made solely by government agencies.
CNIS is not responsible for government delays, requests for evidence, denials, or changes in immigration laws or policies.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
CNIS Immigration Services is not responsible for:
• government processing delays
• decisions made by immigration officers or courts
• consequences resulting from inaccurate client information
• changes in immigration laws or government policies
17. PAYMENT DISPUTES
The Client agrees not to initiate payment disputes or chargebacks for services that have already been performed.
CNIS reserves the right to provide documentation of services rendered to financial institutions to resolve payment disputes.
18. LANGUAGE OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement has been provided in both English and Spanish for the convenience of the Client.
If the Client does not understand the language in which this Agreement is written, the Client agrees to request clarification or a translation before signing.
By signing this Agreement, the Client confirms that they have read and understood the version of the Agreement written in the language they understand.
19. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES
Electronic signatures are considered legally binding and equivalent to handwritten signatures.
20. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
