  • New York's most crucial year of the American Revolution was 250 years ago in 1776. In this walking tour in Lower Manhattan, we'll hit well-known highlights (Fraunces Tavern, Alexander Hamilton's grave, Federal Hall) along with little-known sites associated with the French and Indian War, freedom/lack of freedom of the press during the conflict, and the British occupation of the city.
