Summer SCIENCE FULL DAY CAMP
FULL STEAM AHEAD - The Science of Superheroes!

Get ready for a fun-filled week of science exploration at the Knowledge is Power Camp in Charlestown! We’ve got an exciting lineup of hands-on activities that will spark curiosity and creativity in young minds.

The City of Charlestown Parks Department is teaming with Daniel Dietrich to host the 2026 Summer Science FULL DAY Camp. The camp will take place the week of June 8-12, 2026 at the Family Activities Park (1000 Park Street) and is for students in K-5th grades.

The theme this year is "Full Steam Ahead! The Science of Superheroes"

Throughout the week, campers will learn about and experiment with Electricity, Magnetism, and Chemistry. Among the activities will be:
- Superhero Grappling Hook Challenge
- Spider-Man Web Shooter
- Iron Man Armor Strength Test
- Superhero Rescue Drone
- Hulk Strength Tower
It’s going to be a week full of fun, learning, and discovery!

Each student that attends will receive a T-shirt and snacks. Please bring a sack lunch each camp day.

The cost is $175 per camper. If registering multiple children, please fill out a separate form for each.
