  • Video Pool Media Arts Centre aims to inspire curiosity and creative expression through open exploration of technology in all media art forms, focusing on practices that are adventurous, independent, and explore niche approaches to art and technology. We strive to cultivate experimental artistic practices and accessibility to technology through presentation, production, distribution and education while also supporting the greater arts community through our programs, facilities and expertise.

    • SUBMISSION GUIDELINES 
      • Tech inspired handmade items (old or new tech inspired or used to create the work for example Spinning Wheel)
      • Items must be made by the artist or crafter
      • Artists residing in Manitoba will be given first consideration
      • All submissions will be subjected to a jury process
      • Applying does not guarantee acceptance, do not pay until notified of acceptance. 
    • MARKET TIMES & VENDOR GUIDE LINES 
      • Market date November 28th, 2026, 12 - 6pm
      • Accepted Applicants will be notified by August 28, 2026
      • Cancellation Date, Sept 30, 2026. Table fees not refunded after this date.
      • PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTED VENDORS OCTOBER 30TH 12AM

       

      • LOAD IN - Friday November 3 - 8pm, Saturday November 28, 9 -11:30am.  DUE TO BUILDING HAS ONE ELVATOR SET UP TIMES ARE BY APPOINTMENT.  ACCEPTED VEDORS WILL BE NOTIFIED.
      • ALL VENDORS MUST BE SET UP BY SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28, 11:45AM
      • Layout and table number will be available after the selection process
      • All vendors must maintain and staff their booths for the full hours of the sale
      • Place SOLD OUT sign on your table if you sell all your items
      • Vendors must follow VP's SAFER SPACES POLICIES
      • Failure to follow above guidelnes may cause disqualification of future events
      • VP Media Arts Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen products.
      • Vendors are responsible for their own insurance.
    • TABLE FEES & FLOOR PLAN 
      • (BYOT - Bring Your Own Table, 2 chairs provided)  Fee $45

      • There are limited tables available to rent for $5 (6ft and 5ft)
      • Electrical hookup $5
      • Each vendor will have 7x4 foot with limited space between tables
      • Layout and table number will be available after the selection process
      • Table must be covered by a cloth or fitted table covering
      • Extra stock, dollies ect must be stored under or behind tables
      • Volunteers will be available to cover tables  for bathroom breaks
      • Vendors must stay within 7 x 4 foot spot, this includes shelving, racks and displays.

      • Directs Sales
      • Commercially or mass produced jewellery, beads, charms, chains

    • PROMOTION & MARKETING GUIDE LINES 
      • The event will be publicized by VP Media Arts Centre.
      • Vendors may advertise to their customers and in their community using promotional material provided by VP Media Arts Centre.
      • Information and images collected in application will be used for promotional purposes.
