This workshop is currently full with 25 registrants (!) We invite you to join the waitlist here to be offered spots if any spots open up the week before.
With enough demand, we would also offer this workshop again and give waitlist members first priority.
Join Anna and Kat for an introductory workshop where you'll learn essential bike maintenance skills. We'll cover fundamental repairs and adjustments that will help you handle common issues and feel more self-reliant on the road. No experience needed!
This workshop is specifically for women, trans, femme, and non-binary people. Please respect the integrity of this space -- there are plenty of other workshops and weekly programs primarily run by cis men.
The workshop will begin with a group lecture on bike basics, then we'll split into two smaller groups, with Anna and Kat at the bike stands. In these hands-on sessions, we'll walk through bike components in detail, demonstrate a safety check, and cover basic drivetrain maintenance techniques. While a few folks may get hands-on time with the bikes during the workshop, this is primarily a learning session rather than a repair clinic—we won't be fixing individual bikes during this event. Depending on interest and turnout, we're hoping to make this a recurring workshop or launch WTFNB bike nights where mechanics can help with real-time repairs!
