Volunteer interest form

Thank you so much for considering volunteering with us here at Cantare! Your assistance truly makes the difference in our ability to continue to serve the over 2,500 youth and adults who participate in our programs. We have a wide-variety of opportunities where we have openings for volunteers. Please mark below which opportunities you would be interested in, and we will contact you when these types of opportunities arise!

Event type details:

School events: Performances and events for our in-school and some after-school programs. These events take place at our partner schools, where we need volunteers to help take photos at these events. Professional photography skills are not required.

Youth concerts: Larger events compared to school-events. Includes our Fall Pride & Joy concert, Spring youth concert, and Nova and Aurora recitals. Tasks can include usher work, supervision of students, handling food or snack distribution, and other assorted tasks.

Summer camp: Our 2-week summer camp (in 2026 from Mon, 6/8 - Thu, 6/18). Volunteers are needed throughout the day to help with supervising students, chaperoning our field trip on Fri, 6/12; distributing food, taking photos, and more. 

Chorale concerts: Large scale events featuring our adult Chorale. Tasks primarily include front-of-house jobs such as ushering, as well as box office and will call management.

Campaign drives: Our Fall and Spring fundraising campaign drives. Tasks include primarily stuffing and mailing letters for donors, which can be taken home and done over a period of time. 

Office tasks: We sometimes need assistance in our office with some organizational tasks. Filing and sorting papers and music, labeling t-shirts for distribution, organizing items like snacks and drinks for efficient storage. Can have very flexible scheduling.
