    In-person Competition Instructions:

    Saturday July 11, 2026 check-in opens at 4:00pm for pre-judging, contest judging begins at 5:00pm, and live music by Flamingo Party from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Contest is sanctioned by Wolek's Beard Championship and follows N.A.B.M.C. rules. Scoring will be done by an indepedent panel of judges with expertise with facial hair. Scoring will be also be performed live in person at the event. You must appear in person to compete in the beard contest and you also must appear in person to receive the award. All competitors not present at awards ceromony will be forfeited to the next highest scoring competitor. Awards ceromony is to be determined to take place after judging is complete. All judges decisions are final. Donation to designated charity suggested for contest entry.

    The event will be held at the Oyster City Brewing Company 
    located at 603 W. Gaines Street, Tallahassee, FL. Our charity partner for this initiative is the First Responders Initiative, and is organized with affiliation by North Florida Facial Hair Society.
