Welcome to the 12th SCAR Open Science Conference Antarctic Mentor Match Initiative!
This initiative is designed to foster connections and idea exchange among researchers within the same discipline but at different career stages.
Whether you're further along in your career and eager to share your expertise, or just starting out and seeking guidance, there's a place for you in our programme. We invite you to sign up to the programme as either a mentor (if you are later in your career or would like to share your expertise) or as a mentee (if you are earlier in your career or would like to connect with a mentor). You can also sign up as either if you are in the middle of your career and can imagine benefitting from both.
Simply let us know your interests and discipline below, and we'll pair you with someone from your field. Once we've made the match, it's over to you to make the most of this opportunity to network and connect during the 12th SCAR Open Science Conference. You get to choose how you connect – whether it's over a relaxed tea/coffee during one of the breaks or for a longer chat in one of our meeting rooms.
