The booth fees for this event are not profit going to a person's pocket. We are very transparent about that. 20% of the booth fees will be donated to LIFT East Tennessee, which is an autism awareness and support group that meets at our lodge fellowship hall. We love this group and have a great relationship with them. The other 80% goes to pay for marketing and other fees related to the festival (portable bathrooms, etc, if we can't get them donated) and whatever is left goes to the historic lodge to help maintain the grounds, as we are responsible for maintaining not only a 150+ year old building, but the adjacent cemetery, which costs a lot of money to mow given that the grave markers prohibit you from riding a commercial mower through it. Those of us managing the festival are members of the lodge and giving our time to the effort.
