    Dr. Nuria Morfin, Assistant Professor, Department of Entomology, University of Manitoba
    An overview of honey bee biology and colony development. This presentation will help participants understand how healthy bees grow and behave, and how disease can disrupt the lifecycle of a colony.

    Beekeeping as a Hobby or a Profession

    An introduction to Manitoba’s beekeeping industry and the equipment and management techniques used to maintain healthy colonies, whether for hobby beekeeping or commercial operations.
