• Retreat Participation Agreement & Liability Waiver

    Cultivating Wild Women Retreat Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver. This Agreement is entered into between the participant (“Participant”) and Cultivating Wild Women and its owner, facilitators, instructors, volunteers, and contractors (collectively referred to as “CWW”).

  • By registering for and attending the Cultivating Wild Women Retreat, the Participant agrees to the following terms:

    Assumption of Risk
    Participant understands that the retreat involves activities that may include but are not limited to:

    Outdoor camping and nature-based activities
    Yoga, breathwork, and somatic movement
    Fire-based cooking and outdoor gatherings
    Sauna use
    Walking on uneven natural terrain
    Group exercises and emotional processing activities
    Participant acknowledges that these activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to physical injury, illness, emotional discomfort, accidents, environmental hazards, and other unforeseen risks.

    Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.

    Medical Responsibility
    Participant affirms that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities. Participant agrees to consult with a medical professional if they have any concerns regarding their ability to participate.

    Participant understands that CWW does not provide medical or mental health services.

    Emergency Medical Authorization
    In the event of a medical emergency during the retreat, Participant authorizes Cultivating Wild Women facilitators or staff to seek emergency medical assistance on their behalf if necessary.

    Participant understands that any medical expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the Participant.

    Cultivating Wild Women does not assume responsibility for medical costs or treatment decisions made by emergency personnel.

    Participant agrees to inform facilitators of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations that may impact participation.

    Release of Liability
    Participant releases and holds harmless Cultivating Wild Women, its owner, facilitators, instructors, musicians, photographers, and venue hosts from any liability, claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from participation in retreat activities.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    Physical injury
    Emotional distress
    Property damage or loss
    Accidents related to outdoor environments
    Sauna use or physical activity
    Participant agrees that participation is voluntary and undertaken at their own risk.

    Personal Property
    Participant is responsible for their own personal belongings. Cultivating Wild Women is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

    Behavior Expectations
    Participant agrees to behave respectfully toward facilitators, other participants, and the natural environment.

    CWW reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or harmful to the group experience. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

    Payment & Refund Policy
    Retreat registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

    If the retreat must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified and alternative options may be provided at the discretion of Cultivating Wild Women.

    Travel & Transportation Responsibility
    Participants are solely responsible for arranging and managing their own transportation to and from the retreat location.

    Cultivating Wild Women is not responsible for travel disruptions, vehicle issues, delays, accidents, or other transportation-related incidents that occur before, during, or after the retreat.

    Participants assume full responsibility for their personal travel arrangements and associated risks.

    Force Majeure
    Cultivating Wild Women shall not be held liable for cancellation, delay, or modification of the retreat due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

    These circumstances may include but are not limited to:

    Severe weather or natural disasters
    Government restrictions or public health emergencies
    Fire, venue damage, or utility disruption
    Acts of God
    Illness or emergency affecting key facilitators

    Any other unforeseen event that makes the retreat unsafe or impractical to conduct
    In such circumstances, Cultivating Wild Women reserves the right to reschedule the retreat, offer credit toward a future event, or provide alternative arrangements at its discretion.

    Governing Law
    This Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.

    Any disputes arising from participation in the Cultivating Wild Women Retreat shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the courts located in Ohio.

    Agreement
    By signing below, Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver.

  • Wellness Activity Consent (Yoga, Breathwork, Movement)

    Participant understands that activities offered during the Cultivating Wild Women retreat may include:

    Yoga
    Breathwork
    Somatic movement
    Meditation
    Sound experiences
    Emotional reflection exercises
    These activities are intended for personal growth and wellness but are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatments.

    Participant acknowledges the following:

    They may choose to participate or opt out of any activity at any time.
    They are responsible for listening to their body and respecting personal limits.
    Breathwork and movement practices may create emotional or physical sensations that vary by individual.
    Participant agrees to participate voluntarily and assumes full responsibility for their well-being during all retreat activities.

     

    Photo & Media Release
    Photo and Media Release Agreement

    During the Cultivating Wild Women Retreat, photographs and video may be captured by professional photographers or members of the CWW team.

    By signing this release, Participant grants Cultivating Wild Women permission to:

    Photograph and/or record video during the retreat
    Use images or video in marketing, promotional materials, social media, website content, and future retreat promotion
    Use images without additional compensation or approval
    Participant understands that:

    Photos may appear in digital or print materials
    CWW will make reasonable efforts to use images respectfully and in alignment with the spirit of the retreat
    Participant may notify organizers if they prefer not to appear in identifiable photos, and reasonable accommodations will be made when possible.
