I'm a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer with 4+ years of weightlifting experience. As a queer and transmasc person, I know what it’s like to feel uncomfortable and anxious in cishet-dominated gyms, to struggle with mind-body connection due to dysphoria and trauma, to have hardly any Covid-safer spaces to workout in, to want to build strength and muscle but have no idea where or how to begin.
All of that informs my approach to training, which is accessible for all experiences and bodies, free of toxic gym bro culture, diet culture, and body shaming, and uses movement to mindfully deepen our connection to our breath and body.
In order to provide an accessible training space, I offer Covid-safer 1:1 sessions in my private home garage gym in Portland, which is a mask-required space (I will be masked in a KN95) with an air purifier. My current focus is on functional strength, hypertrophy, and mobility training.
My personal training rate is sliding scale $75 - $85 for a single 1:1 60-minute session, with discounted rates for packages. Personal training with me includes a free 30-minute consultation call, a customized workout plan based on your goals and experience, a physical assessment, exercise demonstrations, progress tracking, and detailed feedback during each session.
