  • TRAVEL TEAM APPLICATION DEADLINE:

    $500 Commitment Fee Required with Application

    Athletes who have achieved at least one (1) Zone qualifying time standard MUST submit their application & deposit by May 1, 2026 to secure a spot with the appropriate travel team (SR Zones or AG Zones).

    Athletes who apply after the May 1st deadline will be responsible for securing their own travel, lodging, and meal arrangements for the duration of their event. See additional details, below.

     

    FINAL APPLICATION DEADLINE:

    Monday, July 13, 2026

    Athletes who have achieved at least one (1) Zone qualifying time standard and have not submitted their application by the May 1st deadline MUST submit their application by Monday, July 13, 2026 to meet regular entry deadlines and to be added to the rosters of the IES Zone Teams (SR Zones or AG Zones).

    EXCEPTION: Athletes who achieve a first-time qualifying event at the 2026 IES LC Championships may submit their application under the "new qualifier entry process" to join the IES Zone Teams. See additional details below.

    All athletes who submit their application after the May 1st deadline will be responsible for securing their own travel, lodging, and meal arrangements for the duration of their event.

     This application form is for BOTH the Senior Zone team & the Age Group Zone team

    Please read all directions carefully! 

    The 2026 IES Zone Teams will be comprised of IES athletes who have at least one individual qualifying time, as determined by the appropriate time standards for the meet you are applying to attend.

    Qualifying time standards for both meets, along with details, are posted HERE: SR & AG ZONE TIME STANDARDS on the IES website under the 2026 IES ZONE TEAMS page.

    2026 WZ Senior Championships * July 28 - August 1 * Clovis, CA

    IES Team Travel Dates:

    Group 1 - Saturday afternoon, July 25th (up to 15 athletes)

    Group 1 athletes will depart from & return to Pasco, WA

    Group 2 - Sunday morning, July 26th (up to 25 athletes)

    Group 2 athletes will depart from Pasco, WA & return to Spokane, WA

    All athletes will return home on Sunday, August 2nd

    2025 WZ Age Group Championships * August 5 - 8 * Gresham, OR

    IES Team Travel Dates: Tuesday, August 4th - Sunday, August 9th

    Travel for Age Group Zones will be via team vans, departing from the Spokane area and meeting other team vans in the Pasco area, to travel together to Gresham, OR. Return travel will be the reverse: travel together to Pasco, WA and then to Spokane, WA.

    Additional Travel Details will be shared with the submission of a team application.

    SENIOR ZONES:

    • IES will pre-purchase athlete plane tickets for the SRZ trip based on the applications received by the May 1st deadline, up to 40 tickets maximum. These tickets will be assigned in the order applications are submitted & deposits confirmed. Hotel rooms and meals will also be assigned in a similar manner, based on the applications received by the May 1st deadline.
    • Athletes submitting applications after the May 1st deadline will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the meet in Clovis, as well as hotel arrangements, transportation, and meals during the week.

    AGE GROUP ZONES:

    • IES will traveling by vans to the meet in Gresham, OR. There will be a maximum of 40 team seats in the team travel vans that will be assigned in the order applications are submitted & deposits confirmed by the May 1st deadline. Hotel rooms and meals will also be assigned in a similar manner, based on the applications received by the May 1st deadline.
    • Athletes submitting applications after the May 1st deadline will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the meet, as well as hotel arrangements, transportation, and meals during the week.

  • NEW QUALIFIERS at IES LC CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Athletes who achieve a FIRST-TIME Zone qualifying time standard at IES LC Championships are eligible to apply for the IES Zone Teams. These athletes must submit their application by the end of the Finals session on Sunday, July 26, 2026, and will be entered as NEW qualifiers.

    • Payment of all team fees will be due immediately in order to be added to the team. 
    • New qualifiers will be responsible for arranging for their travel, housing, and meals at the meet they have qualified to attend.

    Senior Zone athletes who are already a member of the IES Senior Zone Team, who achieve a NEW qualifying time standard, are eligible to add these new events. Athletes achieving NEW qualifying events for Senior Zones MUST notify the Senior Zone Coach Jody Broyles jodybroyles1@gmail.com via email by 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2026, in order for the events to be added to their entries.

  • REQUIRED:  $500 ATHLETE COMMITMENT FEE

    A commitment fee of $500 in the form of a personal check or money order MUST BE SUBMITTED with the application to confirm the applicant's spot on the team.

    2026 IES Zone Team Fees:

    • SENIOR ZONES TEAM FEE - $1800 (paid to IES - includes the $500 deposit)  plus separate purchase of individual team gear (est $300)
    • AGE GROUP ZONES TEAM FEE - $1500 (paid to IES - includes the $500 deposit) plus separate purchase of individual team gear (est $300)

    Placement on the Zone Team is not considered final until total payment has been received & funds are verified by the IES Treasurer.

    A space for providing the check number and the date mailed is listed below as one of the required fields of this application.

  • ATHLETE ENTRY FEES & TEAM GEAR

     

    MEET ENTRY FEES

    • Senior Zones individual entries and entry fees will be handled by each individual IES team * all individual entries will be combined into the IES All-Star Team by meet management following the close of entries. RELAYS will be determined at the meet and added to total team fees.
    • Age Group Zones entries and entry fees will be submitted by the LSC and added to total team fees.

     

    IES TEAM GEAR 

    Team Caps: 

    All athletes will receive two (2) silicone team caps, the cost of which will be added to total team fees.

    Team Gear:

    Information on the purchase of Team Gear will be provided after athletes have submitted their application. Team gear purchase is an additional cost separate from team travel & meet fees.

    REQUIRED Team Gear will include team t-shirts and team backpack. 

    Additional items (warmups, hats, etc) may be available but are not required.

  • QUALIFYING EVENTS

  • Senior Zones

    • Athletes must have at least one (1) qualifying time standard to enter the meet.
    • Athletes must meet the bonus standards to enter bonus event - max of two (2)
    • Exception: Athletes who have achieved a qualifying standard in the 800 or
      1500 meter freestyle may enter the other (1500 or 800) event if they do not have the qualifying standard in that event.
    • Enter up to nine (9) total qualifying individual events below. 
    • Senior Zone athletes may enter up to nine (9) individual events (not including Time Trials) but may not compete in more than seven (7) individual events in the meet (not including Time Trials). Athletes will be limited to three (3) events per day, including TimeTrials. This is a Proof of Time meet; all entry times must be visible in the USA Swimming SWIMS database.
    • Relays will be determined by coaches from athletes entered in the meet.

    Age Group Zones

    • Athletes must have at least one (1) IES Age Group Zone Time Standard to enter the meet.
    • Enter up to nine (9) total qualifying events below, using the IES Age Group Time Standards. 
    • Age Group Zone athletes may not compete in more than six (6) individual events in the meet. Athletes will be limited to three (3) events per day. This is a Proof of Time meet; all entry times must be visible in the USA Swimming SWIMS database.
    • Relays will be determined by coaches from athletes entered in the meet.
