    Scratch & Show Credit Policy

    • Refunds are only available with a valid vet or doctor's excuse.
    • If approved, refunds will be:
      • 50% of the money paid towards Entry Fees.
      • 100% of all other fees (Admin and Stalls).

    Please leave dogs at home whenever possible.
    If you must bring a dog, it must be leashed at all times.

    This show is conducted and judged in accordance with the United States Rules for Working Equitation.

    You must be dedicated to the series to earn your Letterman's Jacket.

    Qualification: To be eligible for a year-end High Point Award, you must enter a minimum of four (4) shows in the Wine Country Classic Series throughout the 2026 season.

    Point Maximizer: The Region 2 Championship Show will automatically receive a 1.5x Multiplier when calculating your year-end total.

  • WINE COUNTRY CLASSIC: RELEASE AND ENTRY AGREEMENT

    This document waives important legal rights. Read it carefully before signing.
  • RELEASE:
    I understand that this is a high-risk sport and I am participating at my own risk. I hereby assume this risk and further do hereby release and hold harmless the organizer (Licensee), organizing committee, competition management, judges and officials; Wine Country Classic, its owners, officers, agents, employees and volunteers; the host of this event or competition; and the owners of any property on which the event or competition is being held, from all liability for negligence resulting in accidents, damage, injury, or illness to myself and to my property,
    including the horse or horses that I will compete at this event or competition.

    ENTRY AGREEMENT:
    By entering a Wine Country Classic competition and signing this entry form as the Owner, Rider, or Parent/Guardian, I agree that I am subject to and agree to be bound by the Bylaws of Wine Country Classic applicable to the competition, the U.S. Rules for Working Equitation (“Rules”), and the requirements of the competition as stated in the Prize List. I will accept as final the decision of the Protests Committee or Appeals Committee on any question arising under the Rules and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, Wine Country Classic, their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers, and affiliates for any action taken under the Rules.


    I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the Rules and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, Wine Country Classic and/or competition management may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cablecasts, or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage, or benefit of the competition, sport, or Wine Country Classic. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably
    waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. I understand and agree that copies of scoresheets may be retained for official training purposes only.


    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:
    In consideration for my participation in this Competition, I AGREE to the following:


    ● I AGREE that Wine Country Classic and the Competition as used herein include the Licensee and competition management, as well as all of their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers, and affiliates.


    ● I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Competition with my horse as a rider, owner, or parent/guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horse sports and the Competition involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering, or death (“Harm”).


    ● I AGREE to hold harmless and release Wine Country Classic and the Competition from all claims for money damages or otherwise for any Harm to me or my horse and for any Harm of any nature caused by me or my horse to others, even if the Harm arises or results, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of Wine Country Classic or the Competition.


    ● I AGREE to expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, including Harm
    resulting from the negligence of Wine Country Classic or the Competition.


    ● I AGREE to indemnify Wine Country Classic and the Competition and to hold them
    harmless with respect to claims for Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me or my horse while at the Competition.


    ● I AGREE that I have read the Rules about protective equipment and I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty. I acknowledge that Wine Country Classic strongly encourages me to do so while warning that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries. I represent that I have the requisite training, coaching, and abilities to safely compete in this competition.


    ● I AGREE that if I am a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child’s participation, AGREE to all of the above provisions, and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child’s behalf. I understand and AGREE that all competitors under the age of 18 must wear an ASTM/SEI-approved safety helmet.


    ● I AGREE that if I am injured at this Competition, the medical personnel treating my injuries may provide information on my injury and treatment to Wine Country Classic and competition management.


    BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable Wine Country Classic rules, all terms and provisions of this entry form, and all terms and provisions of the Prize List. If I am signing and submitting this Agreement electronically, I acknowledge that my electronic signature shall have the same validity, force, and effect as if I affixed my signature by my own hand.

  • Media, Photography & Videography Policy

  • Wine Country Classic Horse Shows (WCC) is committed to maintaining a professional, fair, and respectful environment for all exhibitors, sponsors, officials, and spectators. To ensure consistent, high-quality media coverage, WCC maintains an exclusive media agreement for all WCC-hosted events.

    1. Official Media Provider
    Wine Country Classic has entered into an exclusive contract with Brooke Louise Creative as the Official Horse Show Photographer and Videographer for all WCC events hosted throughout the year.

    By entering or attending a WCC event, all exhibitors, owners, riders, trainers, and their agents acknowledge and agree that:

    They may be photographed and/or recorded on video at any time while on the show grounds. Images and video may be used by WCC for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes. All official event images and video are copyrighted by Brooke Louise Creative, who may also use them to promote her business.


    2. Commercial Photography & Videography Restrictions
    Commercial and/or professional photography or videography is strictly limited to:

    The Official WCC Photographer and Videographer (Brooke Louise Creative).
    Credentialed Press Photographers/Videographers approved by WCC.

    Commercial photography or video is defined as any imagery or video captured for resale, promotion, advertising, brand marketing, or professional distribution, including but not limited to:

    • Paid client coverage
    • Brand partnerships
    • Sponsored content
    • Advertising campaigns
    • Influencer or “lifestyle” content
    • Monetized social media content

    Professional or commercial photography/video without prior written consent from WCC is expressly prohibited.

    3. Social Media & Influencer Content
    Social media coverage is considered commercial photography and/or videography unless produced by a recognized magazine or digital publication.

    The following require prior approval and press credentials from WCC, as well as approval from the Official Show Photographer and/or Videographer:

    • Professional content creators
    • Influencers
    • Lifestyle photographers/videographers
    • Anyone creating content intended for brand promotion or monetization

    Personal, casual photos or videos taken by exhibitors or spectators for private, non-commercial use only are permitted, provided they do not interfere with competition, officials, or professional media operations.

    4. Press Credentials
    Press photographers or videographers (defined as those producing content for TV, newspapers, magazines, or periodic print or digital publications) must:

    • Apply for and receive press credentials from WCC prior to the event
    • Display their press pass at all times while on the show grounds
    • Adhere to all WCC rules and media guidelines

    WCC reserves the right to approve or deny press credentials at its sole discretion.

    5. Exhibitor Media Options
    Exhibitors seeking professional photo or video coverage during a WCC event may:

    • Contract directly with the Official Show Photographer or Videographer
    • Schedule approved photo or video sessions on the show grounds for advertising, promotional, or social media use

    This ensures consistent quality, safety, and fairness for all exhibitors.

    6. Enforcement & Penalties
    This policy will be strictly enforced.

    Violation of this Media Policy may result in:

    • Immediate removal from the show grounds
    • Revocation of event credentials or admission
    • Disqualification
    • Denial of entry to current and/or future WCC events

    No refunds will be issued in the event of removal due to policy violations.
