Register to volunteer as a Tree Tender with Friends of Princeton Open Space
Join us for a Tree Tender training session that will prepare you to work independently at the Preserve. FOPOS Tree Tenders will independently monitor native trees and shrubs throughout the Preserve. Tasks may include using hand pruners to remove invasive vines from protective cages around native trees and shrubs and monitoring our restoration site deer exclosures. Adult volunteers may work on their own; minors must work under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Ideally, monitoring would happen weekly (or biweekly) to help us meet our stewardship goals this season.
