Mini Session Photography Service Agreement

• Mini sessions are 20 minutes. 
• Client will recieve an online gallery that includs a minimum of 25 edited images with a print release. 
• The images can be used for personal printing. 

• Total session price is $179.76 (168+11.76 tax)
• Nonrefundable $36 Retainer - is transferable in the case of rescheduling. 
• Payment is due at the time of booking to reserve your time. 
• Payment can be made at abphotography.bigcartel.com 

• Cancellation Policy:

  Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the scheduled session date will receive an 80% refund of the total session fee. For example, if your session is scheduled for a Saturday, the last day to cancel and receive an 80% refund would be the Sunday prior.

  Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund of the total session fee. For example, if your session is scheduled for a Saturday, the last day to cancel and receive a 50% refund would be Thursday.

  If a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the scheduled mini session, the session fee will not be refunded. However, the payment may be transferred to a future mini session or applied as a credit toward a full session valued at $300.

  Mini sessions are scheduled during limited time blocks and generally cannot be rescheduled. If a client is unable to attend their scheduled time, the session will be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation policy above will apply. Any approved reschedule requests are at the sole discretion of the Photographer and are not guaranteed.

• No-Show Policy:

  Clients who fail to arrive for their scheduled session time without prior notice will be considered a no-show. In the event of a no-show, the session fee will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Weather Policy:

  In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, the Photographer reserves the right to reschedule mini sessions. A new date, time, or location will be provided as soon as possible.

  If the Photographer determines that weather conditions make the session unsafe or impossible to conduct, clients will be offered the option to reschedule to the designated rain date or transfer their session credit to a future mini session or full session, subject to availability.

Mini sessions are scheduled in limited time slots. Each session will last approximately the allotted time assigned by the Photographer (20 minutes). Due to the nature of mini sessions, additional time cannot be guaranteed. Clients are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to ensure they receive their full session time.

The Photographer will professionally edit and deliver the final images via an online gallery. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons, but every effort will be made to meet the stated timeline.

• Approximate Number of Images: a minimum of 15 

The Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the Photographer’s portfolio and style. The Photographer maintains full creative control over the editing process and final image selection. Requests for edits outside the Photographer’s standard editing style may not be accommodated.

The Client grants Amanda B Photography and its legal representatives, assigns, and licensees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs from the session in which the Client or their minor children may appear. These images may be used for purposes including, but not limited to, portfolio display, website content, social media, marketing materials, advertising, studio samples, competitions, and other promotional uses.

The Client acknowledges that the photographs may be edited, altered, or combined with other images or text in accordance with the Photographer’s artistic vision. The Client waives any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the specific use to which the images may be applied.

For participants under the age of 18, the Client confirms that they are the parent or legal guardian of the minor(s) and have the authority to grant this release on their behalf.

The Client understands that no additional compensation will be provided for the use of these images and releases the Photographer from any claims, demands, or liability arising from the use of the photographs as described above.

Photography is a visual business, and the ability to share recent work helps potential clients understand the Photographer’s style, quality, and services. Images from client sessions may be used to showcase the Photographer’s work through portfolios, website galleries, social media, marketing materials, and other promotional platforms.

Amanda B Photography greatly appreciates the opportunity to share select images from sessions for these purposes. Client permission to use photographs helps the Photographer continue to grow their business and reach future clients.

By agreeing to this section, the Client grants Amanda Barnhart Photography permission to use images from the session for portfolio display and marketing purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

The Client acknowledges that the Photographer cannot guarantee specific poses, expressions, or cooperation from children or other participants during the session. The Photographer will make every reasonable effort to capture quality images, but results may vary depending on participant cooperation and environmental factors.

Each mini session is limited to immediate family members. This includes children, adults, and any pets. Additional participants beyond the agreed-upon number must be approved in advance and may incur an additional fee.

The Photographer reserves the right to pause or end the session if the number of participants exceeds the agreed limit, and any additional session time or images requested outside the original agreement may be subject to extra charges.
 

All photographs taken by Amanda B Photography remain the intellectual property and copyright of the Photographer in accordance with United States copyright law.

Clients are granted a personal-use license, which allows them to download, print, and share their images for personal, non-commercial use. Images may not be altered, edited, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the Photographer.

Clients are welcome and encouraged to share their images on social media. When sharing, it is greatly appreciated that Amanda Barnhart Photography is tagged or credited, as this helps others discover the Photographer’s work and supports the growth of the business.

To preserve the Photographer’s artistic style and quality of work, images shared online should not be altered, cropped, or edited with additional filters.

The Photographer sincerely appreciates clients who share and tag their images, as it is one of the most meaningful ways to support a small photography business.

 

In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to fulfill the session due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond their control, liability is limited to the return of any payments received.

The Photographer is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or loss incurred during the session.
