    Calling all performance artists! The LIC Arts Open Festival is seeking performers of all disciplines to take part in a vibrant celebration of performance art in Queens. Taking place from May 13-17, 2026, this multi-venue festival will showcase live performances in both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout Long Island City.

    We welcome all forms of performance art, including but not limited to:  
    🎭 Theatre  
    💃 Dance & Dance Theatre  
    🎤 Poetry/Spoken Word
    🎶 Music (Bands & Solo Acts)
    🎨 Experimental & Interdisciplinary Performance 

    Details:  
    - Performances can range from 5 to 30 minutes  
    - All selected artists will receive a small honorarium (amounts will depend on each proposal and our available funding) 
    - Various venues available in the LIC area, including indoor and outdoor spaces  
    **Deadline to apply: April 15, 2026
