Secretary-General: The Secretary-General is the chief executive of the conference. They manage the Secretariat team and are charged with planning and executing the conference in its entirety. The Secretary-General's responsibilities include communicating with the Board of Directors, assigning tasks to Secretariat members, ensuring the conference's planning is on schedule, overseeing the substantive program, editing background guides, and overall managing every aspect of the conference.
Director-General: The Director-General is the second-in-command to the Secretary-General. They aid the Secretariat team wherever applicable and conduct miscellaneous tasks and duties in planning and executing the conference.
Chief of Staff: The Chief of Staff is charged with managing the conference's substantive program and staff team, working closely with the USG of Committees and Secretary-General. These duties entail hiring and communicating with staff, assigning tasks, editing background guides, establishing the committee roster, and finalizing committee and crisis topics.
USG of Logistics: The Under-Secretary-General of Logistics is charged with managing the conference's logistics such as floor planning, rooming assignments, finances, scheduling, and more.
USG of Committees: The Under-Secretary-General of Committees closely works alongside the Chief of Staff to manage the substantive program and staff team. They edit background guides, aid in staff affairs and hirings, and contribute to establishing the committee and topic roster. Successful candidates must have a great eye for detail and proficient writing skills.
USG of Delegate Affairs: The Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Affairs is the main point of contact for delegates, chaperones, and sponsor teachers. They are primarily charged with managing participant records, assigning committees and countries to delegates, and serving as a source of support for all participants' questions or concerns.
USG of Conference: The Under-Secretary-General of Conference is charged with acquiring conference supplies such as placards, nametags, delegate handbooks, and A/V equipment.
USG of Outreach: The Under-Secretary-General of Sponsorship is charged with managing the conference's external relations with regard to keynote speakers and other forms of public relations with figureheads that may bolster the conference's status. The USG of Outreach works closely with the USG of Sponsorship, USG of Logistics, and Director-General. They are also responsible for conference registration marketing, alongside the USG of Delegate Affairs and USG of Media.
USG of Sponsorship: The Under-Secretary-General of Sponsorship is charged with obtaining sponsorships (both financial and supplies-based) for the conference. The USG of Sponsorship works closely with the USG of Logistics and Director-General.
USG of Media: The Under-Secretary-General of Media is charged with managing the conference's branding and official image identity, along with hiring and managing a team of photographers and videographers to document the conference. They must be proficient in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and general photo and video editing. The USG of Media is primarily tasked with creating graphics, videos, and promotional media content for the conference. Moreover, the USG of Media's responsibility is to expand the conference's profile by promoting CAIMUN to potential delegates and target schools on platforms such as social media, alongisde the USG of Outreach.
USG of IT: The Under-Secretary-General of Information Technology manages the conference's website and executes other technical needs. They must be proficient in website management and other forms of coding. Primarily, this duty entails updating the website with new information upon release such as dates, applications, the substantive program, Secretariat and staff photos/biographies, and general information.
