    • (Hidden for 26-27) Applied Psychology - (Grades 10-12 with Mrs. Shroff) 
    • For Grades 10-12. This class meets for 14 weeks on Mondays, 1:30-2:45 pm. The content of each semester is unique. The fall semester addresses the question: "Who am I in this changing world?" The winter semester deals with achieving mastery in a distracted world.

      Sections:

    • Bullfrogs (beginning cello) - (Ages 8+ with Mr. Wedge) 
    • For students 8* and up. This class meets for 11 weeks in the fall and winter. 

      • Bullfrogs (Fall) - September 14 -  November 16, 1:30-2:15 pm. Concert Nov 30
      • Bullfrogs (Winter) - January 4 - March 22, 1:30-2:15 pm. Concert Mar 22

      *An exception may be made a younger student  who is taking private lessons.

    • (Hidden) Contra Dancing - (Grades 7-12 with Dr. Pohly) 
    • For grades 7-12. The class meets for 14 weeks on Monday. 

    • Crickets (beginning violin) - (Ages 8 & up with Mr. Wedge) 
    • For students age 8* and up. This class meets for 11 weeks. Crickets 1 is for beginners, who then progress to Crickets 2 after a year. Fall Concert is Nov 30. Winter Concert is Mar 22.

    • For Grades 6-12. This class meets for 14 weeks in the fall. Drawing 1 is for beginning and intermediate students. Drawing 2 is for students who have taken Drawing 1 or equivalent.

    • Etiquette (Grades 5-8 Fall and Grades 3-5 Spring with Mrs. Bell) 
    • Etiquette has two levels. Etiquette for grades 5-8 meets for 10 weeks in the fall, September 8 - November 10. Etiquette for grades 3-5 meets for 6 weeks in the spring, April 13 - May 18

    • Informal Logic (Grades 8-11 with Mr. Dominguez) 
    • For Grades 8-11. This class meets for 28 weeks on Monday.

    • For Grades 7*-12

      *7th graders accepted only with teacher's approval.

      The class meets for 28 weeks, September 14 - May 17.

       

    • (Hidden) Latin 3-4 Combo (Grades 7 & up with Mrs. Barringer) 
    • For Grades 7-12. Student must have taken Latin 1-2 Combo or Latin 2 (or equivalent).

      The class meets for 28 weeks, September 8 - May 11.

      • Basic: written homework is optional 
      • Enhanced: written homework required
    • Lit Circles & Writers Workshop Bundles (Gr 6-8 with Mrs. Michel) 
    • Lit Circles and Writers Workshop are available as a bundle on Thursday and Friday mornings only. They are available individually on Thursday or on Friday afternoon.

      For grades 6-8. Each class is limited to 8 students.

      Lit Circles meets for 28 weeks between September 17-18 and May 20-21.

      Writers Workshop meets for 24 weeks between September 17-18 and April 15-16.

    • Lit Circles (Grades 5-8 with Mrs. Michel) 
    • For grades 5-8. Student must be reading at a 7th grade level or above so that comprehension does not hinder discussion.

      Each class meets for 28 weeks between September 17-18 and May 20-21.

      Each class is limited to 9 students. Students must procure 10-12 books for the course (not included in tuition).

    • Orchestra - (Ages 8 & up with Mr. Wedge) 
    • Orchestra has two divisions: an intermediate division called Orchestra Allegretto and an advanced division called Orchestra Allegro.

      Orchestra Allegretto (intermediate) for students age 8 and up. This class meets for 11 weeks. Orchestra Allegretto is for students who have finished Crickets 2 or Suzuki book 2.

      Orchestra Allegro (advanced) meets for 11 weeks and is for students who have finished Suzuki book 4 or greater.

    • For Grades 9-12. This class meets for 14 weeks on Monday from 11:30 am-1:15 pm, September 14 - January 18

    • Painting - (Grades 6-12 with Mr. Metzger) 
    • For Grades 6-12. This class meets for 14 weeks. 

      Sections:

    • Rivendell Writers & Readers Guild - (Grades 9-12 with Mr. Dominguez) 
    • For grades 9-12. This class meets for 14 weeks on Thursdays. The class can be profitably repeated for students who want to continue to grow in their writing ability in fellowship with others.

    • Rock Climbing Intro - (Grades 9-12 with Mr. Dominguez)

    • For age 14 - grade 12. This class meets for 14 weeks on Mondays. To participate a student must be 14 by the first day of class.

    • This student is too young to register for Rock Climbing in the fall.

    • Spanish 2 - (Grades 9-12, with Mrs. Wencel) 
    • For grades 8-12. Spanish 2 meets TWICE a week on Monday and Wednesday, 10:00-11:15 am for 28 weeks, September 14 - May 19.

    • (Hidden) Spanish 3 - (Grades 10-12 with Mrs. Fischer) 
    • For grades 10-12. Spanish 3 meets TWICE a week, on Monday and Thursday, at 8:30-9:45 am for 28 weeks, September 8 - May 14.

      Prerequisite for Spanish 3: Spanish 2 (or equivalent, with teacher approval).

    • (Hidden) Technical Arts - (Grades 8-12 with Mr. Boriss) 
    • For grades 8-12. The class meets on Monday for 21 weeks at 3:00-4:30 am, September 8 - March 23, the week after the play. The class does not meet on October 13 or December 1.

      Students in Technical Arts are required to provide 20-30 hours of service on the Tech Team during the school year.

      Please note: Due to the instructor's other professional obligations, the number of weeks and the length of the class period may need to be adjusted.

    • Writers Workshop (Grades 6-8 with Mrs. Michel) 
    • For grades 6-8. Each class is limited to 8 students.

      Each class meets for 24 weeks between September 17-18 and April 15-15.

      For core families: Tuition for electives will be added to the payment plan you selected for the core program unless you contact the Business Office to request a different payment schedule.

      For electives-only family: When you complete enrollment process (which will follow the submission of this registration), you will be able to select among several payment plans.
