The Seventh Day Baptist Youth initiative, IGNITE, is officially scheduled for July 18–21, 2026. Join us at Cross Oak Camp & Retreat Center for a transformative four-day event.

Who is directing? Valerie Probasco and Debbie Bond are co-directing IGNITE 2026.

Who is invited? Those students who are affiliated with a Seventh Day Baptist Church whom have completed 6th grade through those who just completed 12th grade.

Will there be a Camp Doctor? Yes, Dr. Andrea Huffman will be on staff.

I understand that my child will be responsible for their actions. I understand that while at IGNITE we adhere to the rules set by the director and Cross Oak Camp. I understand that the most important rule is the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. In addition to the Golden Rule: a. I understand that at IGNITE we do not permit any bullying, and campers who can not comply will be asked to leave. b. I understand that my child is not permitted to come and go as they please and permission may be granted by the directors if necessary. Directors will consult guardians before the permission is granted. c. I understand that cell phones are permitted with the intentions of using them for Bibles, alarm clocks, to listen to appropriate music with earbuds, and cameras; however, pictures may not be taken while in the dorms. d. The boys are not allowed in the girls' dorm and the girls are not allowed in the boys' dorm. e. Participants are required to stay in the dorms during the set sleep hours and are not permitted to leave during the sleep hours without a staff member. f. Participants are responsible for keeping their dorms clean. g. The camp or the IGNITE staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items that are brought to the camp. We do not anticipate a problem, but feel obliged to inform you. h. No inappropriate public displays of affection will be permitted. i. I understand that ALL medications must be given at registration to the staff Doctor and will be administered as instructed.

Once you click the link or scan the code, the Salem Seventh Day Baptist PayPal page will show up and it will have a picture of our church, you can click on the drop down box and select "IGNITE 2026." PLEASE click add fees! The fees are $2.53 on the registration of $100 before May 1st or if you are registering on May 2nd or after it is $150.00 and the fees are $3.55.
