Wandering Women International – 2026 Kenya Trip Application

Apply to join our volunteer trip to Kenya in November/December 2026. Please complete all sections with accurate information; falsifying information can disqualify you from joining the team.
Trip Cost & Payment Timeline. The cost of this trip is $2,950/guest and does not include airfare. This covers everything you will need while traveling with us - Food, Clean Bottled Water, Lodging, Transportation, Visas, Safari & Activity Fees. We have outlined the following payment schedule to make it easier for our guests to travel:

• Payment 1 - $500 = Trip Deposit - Due upon application approval.
• Payment 2 - $500 = Due June 15, 2026
• Payment 3 - $700 = Due July 31, 2026
• Payment 4 - $750 = Due August 31, 2026
• Payment 5 - $500 = FINAL PAYMENT Due October 15, 2026
• TOTAL DUE - $2,950

If you cannot meet this payment schedule, please reach out to Sam to discuss different payment options. Payments can be made online or by sending a check.

Payment in full can be made at any time. These funds will cover all your expenses in country - including food, bottled water, lodging, security, communications, activities/tours, and transportation in country. You will only need additional funds for souvenirs, appreciations/special gifts, and any additional drinks/snacks. This price DOES NOT include airfare.

Trip participants are expected to help with fundraising for the humanitarian projects we will be working on during the trip, and will be shown how to use the organization's fundraising tools.

Our TENTATIVE Trip window will be November 26 – December 14, 2026. Our trips are typically 14-16 days. Final dates TBD by May 31, 2026. You can adjust your arrival or return by a couple of days if the final trip dates do not work with your schedule. Please contact Sam ASAP to discuss it before purchasing tickets.

Trip costs are based on current prices and exchange rates, which are subject to change. Dates, travel arrangements, and schedules are subject to change; if any changes occur, trip guests will be notified as needed.

In the event of political unrest or natural disaster, Team Leaders may decide to cancel or postpone the trip. Application fees and contributions to the team’s fundraising on the traveler’s behalf are non-refundable. These funds will be used to purchase aid supplies in Kenya. Any funds paid for the traveler's trip ($2,950 or a portion thereof) will be held in the organization's savings account for future travel. A full accounting of funds paid in will be provided at the time of postponement.

In the event a participant must cancel their trip, a refund will be issued as follows, LESS any non-refundable travel expenses:

More than 90 days prior to travel – 75% of the trip costs paid can be refunded

Between 89-60 days prior to travel - 40% of the trip costs paid can be refunded

Less than 59 days prior to travel – all trip costs paid become non-refundable.

All travelers will be covered under a group travel insurance policy as part of the trip costs. Team members and Team Leaders understand they are traveling at their own risk. Team Leaders are not liable in the event of sickness, accident, death, or terrorist acts, nor for transportation or any other expense beyond that of normal involvement. We require that all participants be in good physical condition and may request a physical exam and/or reference from a doctor if there are concerns about participants' ability to function in Kenya.

All travelers agree to always follow the Team Leaders' instructions and understand that if they fail to follow directions, they may be asked to leave the team and sent home at the traveler's expense. We take the group's safety seriously and will not tolerate behavior that puts the group, the people we serve, or any individual participant at risk.
