Phases of Comptetion
Personal Interview- Contestants will be judged on their communication skills, intelligence, and personality. Panel style interview with judges, lasting 3 minutes per contestant. Attire should be something you would wear for a job interview, flattering, and age appropriate. (35 points)
Introduction- Contrestats will announce their name and contestant number. You will need to have jeans with no rips or holes, choice of footwear, and a yellow, gold, or white top. (This portion is not judged!)
Promo- Miss contestants will prepare a promo about the festival, Pre-Teen, Teen, Ms, and Mrs will do a personal promo. Each promo should be no longer than 30 seconds. Let your creativity shine! (15 points)
Evening Gown- Teen, Miss, Ms, and Mrs should wear full length gowns. Pre-teen contestants are permitted to wear full length or tea length formal gowns. Age appropriate. (25 points)
On Stage Question- Teen, Miss, Ms, and Mrs will be asked a fishbowl question. Pre-teen contestants will be asked a question from information on their bio sheet. Evening gowns will be worn for on stage question. (15 points)
All score sheets will be available to contestants immediatly following crowning!
Pre-teen 10-12 $75 Entry Fee
Teen 13-15 $75 Entry Fee
Miss 16-21 (must meet qualifications for the WVAFF Pageant) $100 Entry Fee
Ms- 21+, unmarried, with or without children $75 Entry Fee
Mrs- 21+, married at least 1 year $75 Entry Fee

** Must have a minimum of 3 entries for Ms and Mrs. The Clay County Golden Delicious Festival Pageant reserves the right to combine Ms and Mrs age division if necessary.
** All entry fees are non-refundable, unless another WVAFF title is won prior to the Clay County Golden Delicious Festival Pageant!
