Animation & AI Bootcamp with Hollywood Animation Director Jamy Wheless (Industrial Light & Magic)

All bootcamp sessions will be conducted in English. Participants can ask questions and interact with the team in French during the workshop.

💰 Participation fee: 150 CHF

Reduced fee available for eligible participants.

This 4-day immersive bootcamp offers a personalized, hands-on introduction to professional animation using industry techniques and AI tools.

Participants will:
- Work together with other students on a fun team project
- Learn the basics of animation and storytelling
- Get hands-on with Autodesk Maya and beginner-friendly AI tools
- Create and premiere their finished animation
- Present their work during the final project showcase and awards
- Take photos with Jamy and the team
🍽 Lunch is NOT provided

Participants should bring their own lunch or purchase food nearby.

💻 Participants must bring their own laptop capable of running Autodesk Maya and also a 3-button mouse (with scroll wheel).

Required software will be provided on site with an educational license allowing non-commercial use until December 31, 2026.

⚙️ Beginner-friendly workshop

No previous animation experience is required. Participants should feel comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly.

Participation Fee
Standard participation fee: 150 CHF

We want this program to be accessible to everyone. If the standard fee is a barrier for you, you may apply for a reduced participation fee of 10 CHF for the full 4-day program, depending on personal circumstances.

Participation in the bootcamp is confirmed after reviewing:
- the application form
- the motivation letter
- available spots
Payment must be made on the first day of the bootcamp (April 7) via TWINT or cash. Participants who do not complete payment on the first day may lose their place.
