Travel Experience Description:
The University agrees to provide a travel experience to Ghana for the Traveler, as outlined in the itinerary provided to the Travelers.
Total Cost and Payment Schedule:
The total cost of the travel experience with single/private hotel rooms is $2,450.00. Once the Traveler registers for single/private hotel rooms, lodging arrangements can be changed to double/shared hotel rooms, but cost cannot be changed for any reason.
The total cost of the travel experience with double/shared hotel rooms is $1,850.00. Once the Traveler registers for double/shared hotel rooms, lodging arrangements/cost cannot be changed for any reason.
The Traveler will pay the balance in full before June 1, 2026 and be in good standing with Tiffin University’s Office of Student Accounts.
The Traveler is responsible for booking and paying for all flights and any activities/meals not mentioned in the itinerary.
Any traveler that does not register through The University prior to travel is not permitted to join the travel experience at any time.
Cancellation Policy:
The deadline to cancel registration and receive a 100% refund is May 15, 2026. If the Traveler cancels their registration after this date, the traveler is responsible for the full cost of the trip and will not receive any refund.
Changes to Itinerary:
The University reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural disasters, political unrest, or safety concerns.
In the event that significant changes are made to the itinerary, the University will notify the Travelers as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements if feasible.
Travel Insurance:
The Traveler is strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellation, interruption, or medical emergencies.
Responsibilities of the Travelers:
The Travelers are responsible for:
Obtaining and providing copies of any necessary travel documents, such as a passport, travel visa, required vaccinations, and health documentation no later than 3 weeks before departure.
Complying with all laws, regulations, and customs of the destination(s).
Following the instructions and guidelines provided by the University and its representatives during the travel experience.
Ensuring they are in good health and able to participate in the activities included in the itinerary
Governing Law:
This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ohio.
