    Mandatory Parade Entry Meeting Monday, June 29th -6:00pm

  • A late fee will be charged for entry forms received after 6:00pm on Monday, June 9, 2026. 

    $50 - Non profit, Veterans, Dignitaries

    $150 - Business, Candidate

  • FOR AUTOMOTIVE/MOTORCYCLE ENTRIES:

    Please fill out if you are driving in the parade.

     

  • MULTIPLE VEHICLES WITH ENTRY:

    If there are mulitple vehicles with your entry (ex:car club), email a list with Driver's name, Driver's license #, Vehicle License Plate #, Insurance Provider and Policy # to unitedveteranscouncilstockton@gmail.com. (Include the name of the group.)

    There isn't a limit of vehicles, but all vehicles must be registered by June 30, 2025 at 6:00pm.

  • There is a mandatory participation meeting on Monday, June 29th, 6:00pm at Karl Ross Post 16, 2020 Plymouth Rd, Stockton. You must attend or send a representative to this meeting.

  • Stockton 4th of July Parade
    Parade Instructions
    A. This is a FORWARD-MOVING parade. Do not stop in front of the grandstand.
    B. Parade Assembly Location:
                       Weber Street and El Dorado Street
        Check-In Location: 56 S. Lincoln Street, Stockton
                                    Stockton Unified School District Office
        Roads will close at 9:00 AM. All participants must be checked in by this time.
    C. The American Legion Competitive Flag Code will apply to all color guards and flag
              lines.
    D. Bareback riders are not permitted.
    E. Discharging firearms is prohibited and music containing profanity is not
             allowed. This is a family-friendly event.
    F. Decorated vehicles may not cover the windshield.
    G. There will be two main stages:
             DeCarli Plaza (El Dorado & Center Streets)
             In front of the Civic Auditorium (west side)
    H. All units must complete the entire parade route.
              All parade numbers must be placed on the right side of the entry.
    I. A minimum distance of 25 feet must be maintained between parade entrants.
    J. All vehicles and floats must be decorated with fire-retardant materials.
    K. Entries are prohibited from throwing any items, including candy, from                    vehicles.
              Items may be handed out safely by walkers.
              Violators will be removed from the parade route.
    L. No sideshow activities are permitted and all vehicle doors must remain closed
            during the parade.
    M. All vehicles must carry appropriate insurance as required by law.
    N. Motorcyclists are not required to wear helmets while on the parade route.

    Parade Route:
    1. Travel north on El Dorado Street from Weber Avenue.
    2. Turn left (west) onto Oak Street.
    3. Turn left (south) onto Center Street.
    4. Continue south on Center Street back toward the Weber Avenue staging area,
    where the parade will conclude.


    All parade units must continue moving forward and complete the full parade route.

    Liability Waiver

    By participating in the above activity, I/We agree to waive and release all claims of property damage, personal injury, or death which may result from participation in the activity. This release discharges the American Legion Karl Ross Post 16 and the City of Stockton and their members and staff from all liability connected with this event. I/We understand the risks associated with this parade and, knowing these risks, assume them voluntarily.
