  • Overview

    Reservations open April 16th for outings scheduled between May 1st and June 7th. Additional dates for June and July will be released in late May.

     

    • Eligibility: Free to borrow for youth (ages 5+) and adults with limited mobility
    • Weight limit: We have two Trackchair models.The weight limit for the ST model Trackchair is 300 lbs. The weight limit for the Axis 30 is 350 lbs.
    • Companion requirement: All Trackchair users must be accompanied by a friend, family member, or support person who can join for the entire outing and assist with transfers if needed.
    • First outing support: A trained volunteer will join the Trackchair user’s first outing to ensure a safe experience.

    Trackchair outings last up to 2 hours.

    As we work to add more available days each week, please reserve only one outing within the current booking dates.

      A trained volunteer will join the Trackchair user’s first outing to ensure a safe experience. Trackchair users can choose to have a volunteer on future outings.

      Outings Without a Volunteer: To go on a future Trackchair outing without a volunteer, the Trackchair user or support partner must pass a brief evaluation at the end of the first outing to ensure competency and comfort with Trackchair operation, driving skills, and safety procedures.

      Our Trackchairs can be operated with right-hand, left-hand, or attendant joystick controls. Optional accessories—like an oxygen tank holder, cane holder, and transfer board—are available to loan. Please choose from the options below.

    • All Trackchair users must review and sign a waiver to participate. The waiver may be downloaded and printed in advance or completed on the day of the outing; however, a physical (paper) copy must be submitted at the time of the visit.
