We are seeking game submissions from Black developers for the 2026 event, in collaboration with Summer Games Fest on the weekend of June 5th. If you have exciting new content or are interested in being interviewed in this year's showcase, please fill out the form below to register.

Does your game team include Black leadership in majority or influential roles? This includes founders, senior or lead team members who made significant contributions to the game and identify as part of the Black diaspora (the global communities of people of African descent who trace their heritage to the African continent, encompassing individuals and groups living in Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, and elsewhere). By "majority or influential roles," we mean positions where Black voices hold meaningful decision-making power-- whether that's a majority on smaller teams, or significant leadership presence on larger, more diverse teams.*

Thank you for your interest in submitting to Black Voices in Gaming. Our program is dedicated exclusively to showcasing games created by developers who identify as part of the Black diaspora (the worldwide communities of people of African descent, spanning Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond). Because we limit participation to creators from this community, we won’t be able to move forward with a submission that doesn’t meet that criterion. We appreciate your understanding and wish you the best with your project.

We warmly welcome submissions from Black developers whose high quality games resonate with our community.
If you have an exciting announcement to give viewers, content creators, and press a compelling reason to stay locked into the showcase, we’re eager to hear from you. The kinds of exclusive content we prioritize include:
- World‑premiere – a brand‑new title that has never been shown publicly.
- Same‑day releases – launching a full game or a fresh demo during BVIG.
- Never‑seen‑before footage – a new trailer revealing an element of your game that no one has witnessed.
- Major news drops – important updates such as a release‑date reveal, a major DLC or update announcement, or any other headline‑worthy information that hasn’t been disclosed elsewhere.
All submitted trailers will be considered for placement throughout the showcase at our discretion, provided the content is brand new and fits the criteria above.

It should highlight the most exciting and representative moments of your project. This is your opportunity to capture our attention and demonstrate what makes your game unique. Additionally, you may optionally include a playable game build if you have one ready—this gives us a hands-on look at your gameplay mechanics and polish.
