• Mission Ready Internship Program (Student Application)

    The Mission Ready Internship Program, an initiative of the Mission Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), connects students with local employers to gain paid, hands-on work experience while exploring career pathways and building professional skills.
  • Eligibility & Program Requirements

    To participate in the Mission Ready Internship Program applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • • Be at least 16 years of age at the time of application

    • High school students must attend a high school located within the City of Mission OR be a resident of the City of Mission

    • College students must be residents of the City of Mission

    • Be able to provide a valid form of identification (Texas ID, driver’s license, or school-issued student ID)

    • Be able to provide their own transportation to and from the internship site

    • Be available to work 20 hours per week for six (6) weeks, beginning June 15, 2026

    • Be able to attend a mandatory orientation on June 5, 2026 at the CEED Building, where program expectations, workplace professionalism, and dress code will be reviewed.
