Episcopal Day School of Christ Church Parish
2026 Summer Camp Continuing Agreement, Waiver, and Release
May 26 – July 24, 2026
Episcopal Day School, a division and mission of The Church Wardens and Vestrymen of Christ’s Church in Pensacola, Inc. (the “School”), offers weekly summer camps that may include both on-campus and off-campus activities.
To allow your child to participate in the 2026 summer camp program, this Continuing Agreement, Waiver, and Release must be signed and returned before your child attends camp.
This Agreement applies to all camp weeks and related off-campus activities during the 2026 summer season (May 26 – July 24, 2026). It remains in effect for the entire summer unless you withdraw it in writing. If withdrawn, your child will no longer be eligible to participate in remaining 2026 summer camp sessions or related off-campus activities.
By signing below, I/We agree to the following:
1. Parent/Guardian Confirmation
I/We confirm that I/we am/are the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the above-named student (“Student”). I/We understand this agreement is required for participation in summer camp and related activities.
2. Permission and Assumption of Risk
I/We give permission for the Student to participate in all 2026 summer camp sessions and related off-campus activities.
I/We understand that camp activities involve inherent risks, including the possibility of injury, property damage, disability, and, although rare, death. I/We voluntarily accept and assume all risks related to the Student’s participation.
3. Emergency Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I/We authorize the School to obtain medical treatment for the Student at my/our expense.
The School will make reasonable efforts to contact a parent/guardian or emergency contact as soon as possible.
I/We:
Consent to necessary emergency medical care.
Agree to reimburse the School for any medical expenses incurred on the Student’s behalf.
Release and hold the School harmless for decisions made in good faith regarding emergency care.
4. Student Conduct
I/We understand that the Student must follow all School rules and directions from faculty, staff, coaches, volunteers, and chaperones during camp and related activities.
If the Student does not follow expectations, the School may dismiss the Student from camp without refund. In such cases, transportation home will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
The Student must also follow all camp-specific guidelines.
5. Release of Claims and Indemnification
I/We release and waive any claims against:
Episcopal Day School,
The Church Wardens and Vestrymen of Christ’s Church in Pensacola, Inc., and
Their officers, directors, employees, staff, volunteers, chaperones, and representatives

Reasonable health and safety decisions

I/We also agree to be responsible for any damage caused by the Student to School property or the property of others.
6. Limitation of Liability
If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. In any event, the total liability of the Releasees shall not exceed applicable insurance limits, and they shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
This Release applies only to the parties listed above.
